“”And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8
Recently as I read this verse, I was struck by how many times the word “all” is used. It is as if God is using Paul to remind us that there are no half-measures when it comes to what He pours out on His children.
The grace that you need to get through the rough day? He can provide it.
The strength that you need to keep putting one foot in front of the other? He’s got that too.
Day or night?
Joy or pain?
He can cover it.
Everything you need to overcome the temptation to sin, to deal with the difficult person, to push through for His glory – He not only can provide it – He desires to give you what you need so that your life can be used by Him to abound in every good work.
Not in medicority.
Not in half-heartedness.
But good work. Each action. Each decision. Each moment. He can use you for His kingdom.
His grace is sufficient in our weakness (2 Cor. 12:9). And He can provide all the grace we need for this today and for whatever it holds.
All of it.
